I am a mature, responsible lady who loves dogs and all animals. I am fully insured and can provide references for all aspects of my business. I own 2 Golden Retrievers and a small cat who
rescued from starvation in Lanzarote.
Dog grooming..........
I have been a Merrist Wood trained dog groomer since 2010 and I work in a comfortable environment. I offer kind and gentle dog grooming, taking my time and working alone. I specialise in elderly, the very young and the somewhat nervous dogs as well as those who thoroughly enjoy the whole pampering experience. I can offer services from a simple brush bath and blow dry, to a full groom with clipping, scissor trimming, thinning or hand stripping the coarse coated breeds, nail cutting or filing and ear plucking/ cleaning. I work to specific customer requests, which do not have to be the breed specification. I report on any abnormalities that I find during my intensive handling process, and advice on the kindest solution for dogs that may be very matted.The dogs are spoken to kindly and background music is playing ( for my benefit too). I only groom in the afternoons, so advance booking is advisable.
Dog walking........
I dog wallk in the mornings and can collect and return your dog/s to their homes. I have been doing this since 2004 and cover the local areas of Peaslake, Holmbury, Abinger, Gomshall, Shere, Little London and Albury. I can provide references and am insured. I ask that client dogs are fully vaccinated, flea and tick treated and wormed. Dogs will be walked on lead initially, until they are familiar with me, and I with them. If instructed to keep them on lead, they will be. I only walk social dogs. All walks are a minimum of one hour duration, frequently longer, in local beauty spots and away from cyclists, livestock and main roads as much as possible.
Home visits.........
I am available to carry out home visits to feed, water and cuddle your furry pets, such as cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. I can feed and care for pond or tank fish or birds when you are away.
I am also capable of looking after horses, donkeys and chickens as required.

Woof woof. I highly recommend Kim if you are looking for someone for dog grooming/ dog walking/ home visits. I have used all these services and have been very pleased. Kim clearly loves all animals in her care. Mabel says 'Thank you.'

I highly recommend Kim for dog care, walking and grooming. She has regularly looked after our spaniel for the last 11years since she was a puppy. She has an enormous amount of experience in all aspects of dog care, is friendly, professional and completely trustworthy and has been a fount of wisdom on dog training and care. We are so lucky to have found her!

Kim has walked and cared for our dachshund for 3 years now. She is completely reliable and clearly loves dogs. She communicates very well, always getting back to us quickly. We are grateful to her for all she does - nothing is too much trouble - and highly recommend her.

Kim has walked and cared for our dachshund for 3 years now. She is reliable, friendly and really loves dogs. Nothing is too much trouble, and she is an excellent communicator, always getting back to us quickly. We highly recommend her. Most of all our dog is always very happy to be with her.

I have used Creature Comforts for 3 - 4 years for grooming and have been very pleased I feel very relaxed leaving her as I know my dogs welfare is the most important with Kim and she looks after her as her own. Very reliable and friendly service and would highly recommend.

What I look for in a dog groomer is a genuine love of dogs and an understanding and respect for how the experience the sessions. My dogs are totally relaxed because of the way Kim handles them and treats them. Even though I live in East Kent and the journey there takes almost two hours each way. I really would not want to go anywhere else.

Kim cared for our Labrador from her being a puppy right through to when we moved away 6 years later, and we could not have asked for better care. Kim was always flexible when our plans changed and was completely trustworthy, but most importantly, she clearly knew and adored every dog in her care. Cannot recommend her strongly enough!

Kim has been grooming our flat coat for many years and has always taken time and patience to make sure he looks his best. A real animal lover, Kim quickly creates a trusting bond with the animals in her care treating them all as individuals and as if they were her own. Kim has been walking and grooming our dog for almost 6 years. She offers a great service and is very reliable and friendly- our dog adores her and will wait by the door for her on the days he goes out with her. Would highly recommend ??
