Away Walkies Edinburgh is my dog walking business which is based in the Morningside area of Edinburgh. I offer a caring and professional dog walking service to clients who, for whatever reason, feel their dog would benefit from a little more exercise. My dogs are walked in a small manageable group. I am certainly no Ceasar Millan, aka, 'The Dog Whisperer', so you will never see me with more than four dogs on any one walk. To ensure that my dogs have a really exciting and fun time, group walks must be with friendly and sociable dogs who enjoy the interaction. For the elderly, frail, anxious or just downright grumpy dog, I offer one to one individual walks in quieter surroundings. All dogs are exercised for a full hour and will be picked up and returned home towel dried and as clean as possible. I will refresh water and, if required, offer a small meal. It is fortunate that we have some wonderful parks and countryside in and around Edinburgh which are dog friendly and safe, such as The Braid Hills, The Hermitage of Braid, Craiglockhart Hill, Arthur's Seat, Newhailes and, of course, the beach is not too distant in the fine summer weather.
